Shot within the crumbling abandoned architecture of a Cypriot mountain village, the model is styled in traditional handmade Lefkara lace and second-hand garments that were discovered in a local bric-a-brac shop. Softly lit and tender, the images capture the wistful moment when lost identities of the past are revisited - conveying that there’s beauty to be found here.

A fashion shoot styled with vintage clothing sourced from charity shops, exploring the meaning of ‘out of place’ in the modern day. The composition presents juxtapositions and broken dress codes: the wearing of a gown and heels in a dry deserted field, the pairing of 1950s clothes with a 1920s hair style and 1980s makeup, the sartorial signifiers of wealth and contextual lack of it. The images feels both natural and unnatural, inviting speculation about the subject - who is she and what is she doing here, now?
